UPDATE 08/2025 Just have to recapitulate my previous review for NES. Once again, I found myself in need of an electrician. I remembered the astounding service that NES had provided me before. I called them seeking help to remove some electical wiring and for installation of an extra outlet. This company is amazing! Jose, had an electrician to my house within 2hrs. Jorge arrived promptly and performed the work that was needed. He even cleaned up the his entire mess immaculately. This company ROCKS!! 2024 - So my puppy chewed through an electrical cord on my reclining sofa. It's Friday morning going into Labor day weekend. I did not have high expectations in finding an electrician that could do such a repair. I googled electricians near me and found NES. I called NES and lo & behold, Jose the owner, said he was familiar with how to do the repair and could fit me in on today's schedule. I was so happy that I could get same day service. Turns out I was even happier with Jose's work and professionalism. He was completely transparent on the cost of the repair and kept me informed on his arrival time. I will definitely use NES the next time I need an electrician. Thanks Jose!

Found NES after a few other electricians came by and gave an estimate and plan for the what I had requested. While all the other guys gave a half baked plan with the information I had already given, Jose and Jorge made LIGHT WORK (no pun) of the planning, prepping and execution of the job. New 240v line for my dryer, electrical repairs and 3 additional outlets out home desperately needed. If you’re in need of electrical work go to NES. You get what you pay for and a 7:1 heating, plumping, electrical etc company will leave you with more work than when you started. Do it right the first time and call Jose and his team. His work is clean, efficient and shows that you don’t need to be good at everything, just be the best at one thing. Thanks again NES!
We are a small 24 member HOA in central Mesa. Our 4 lights went out showcasing two US flags and the association name at our front entrance. I got a quote from another electrician that I felt was too high, so I went to google and found NES Electrical Services LLC. They were very professional, prompt, and honest. We got a fair quote Thursday and the job was finished on Friday around noon. NES is our electricians from now on. He will be our first contact for any electrical problem. Can't recommend enough, 6 stars maybe, if they were available.
We just had Mr. Nunez to our park model home to fix an electrical issue with our water heater. In the process he corrected several other issues that he noticed that we were not aware of. He and his assistant did great work and communicated everything they were doing. Price was very reasonable. We will be recommending NES Electrical Services to all of our neighbors and friends.
A well earned 5 stars! These guys came out at 530pm and stayed until my house was safe, ensuring the electrical was correct! They went above and beyond. They couod have easily said we will be back tomorrow, but that was clearly not an option for them. The owner himself showed up to ensure my panel was good and he stayed till the job was done, he was the last to leave in fact! George was the main technician and his attention to detail and his safety first mindset was noticed and very much appreciated, and when the owner showed up it was obvious that the owner Jose had been training and passing down these traits to his guys! I dont even write reviews, ever!!...for anything, but these guys, this company deserves every bit of recognition I can give them!

Jose is awesome. We have used NES numerous times. We had a breaker issue that was fixed, as well as numerous outlets installed. He also showed up on a Sunday morning when we needed our dryer plug checked out. I'm sure you could find cheaper companies, but we trust Jose and his team and are customers for life.

We were hurting…our main fuse to the house went out on a Saturday evening with the temperature outside of 106*F. Jose left his family get together and was at our home in under one hour to rectify the situation. He was able to tract down parts and permanently fix our old fuse box’s problems very quickly! Great communication and impeccable work. So glad we found Jose and NES electrical.

Just before Thanksgiving I needed to upgrade my electrical service in the kitchen. NES Electrical Services came out within an hour of my phone call. And installed a 20 amp outlet in the kitchen for a microwave and also fixed some other issues. Also a 20 amp outlet was installed In another room where I have computers. Wires had to be fished through walls and other things were more complicated. But this team of 2 electricians handled everything with professional expertise and quality work ethic. I'm impressed. Done in one day. I have had no problems ever since. Highly recommended for the service that was above and beyond.

A breaker went bad, two hours before we left town. Didn’t want to deal with it after we got back, so called NES and Jose said no problem he can fix it before we get back. So less than 24 hrs after calling the breaker was fixed and everything working again. He kept me updated the whole time he was there with pictures. Would definitely call again with any other electrical work.
I was extremely satisfied with NES services. Came the same day I called and answered all my questions. I recommend Jose as he took the time to look for a solution to the issue.
Jose got here the same day and got everything wired correctly in a bathroom 2 gang, light switch and GFI outlet which also branched off to a second bathroom. I'm very pleased with his work and how quickly he and his helper did the job. Also, he was very polite and didn't mind our two pugs watching them work.

Today 1/2/25, I had some outlets that needed to be changed out bc they stop working. NES not only did the outlets and got changed, also checked every outlet to make sure that they were going to continue to work. Oh I forgot the communication by far the best I have had a while here in AZ. After the work was completed, NES walked thru everything that was done and educated me on some tips I could use moving forward!!

Jose and his team are phenomenal! I was referred to him by my brother in law, and I’m so glad I was. Jose takes the time to explain what he is doing and why it’s important. BEST ELECTRICIANS IN AZ! George and Jorge were not only on time, they were efficient with their time and mine. Had an issue on Monday evening, and they arrived this AM (Wednesday) @ 6 o'clock and were done at 7:15AM. My internet was down, I work from home, and half of our house had no electricity. They diagnosed the problem going through the motions, and then executed properly without any issues. Worth every penny. Called Jose Nunez at NES Electrical Services to move/center a hanging light over our pool table. Jose and George showed up on time (actually ahead of schedule), covered our pool table to protect it, and did an outstanding job. They were able to move our light, perfectly centering it over our pool table using lasers. Couldn't ask for a better electrician. Cleaned everything up and left it cleaner then before they arrived. Will definitely be calling Jose and George again for our next electrical project.

I lost electrical power to the pool after a storm and had been having other funky electrical issues since we purchased our home. I didn't want to call the last company we previously used because they were expensive and had to come back 3 times and still never repaired things correctly. Jose, the owner, was at my home within the hour after I texted him. After assessing everything he diagnosed the problem and gave me an estimate.. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't cheap. Although I was a bit shocked I had a feeling of confidence in him and that doesn't come easily to me since I fancy myself a fussy judge of character and a perfectionist. After his crew spent 2 hot days here crawling around the attic and installing new wiring across the entire house, a new sub-panel, a new outlet and fixed every other concern I had, I understood the cost. It was definitely a huge job. Jose and his crew were the ultimate professionals you'd hope to have show up to your home, not to mention polite and tidy. I can't imagine calling anyone else for any electrical needs!
Some of our power went out on a Thursday night, and we really needed it restored. We called one company whom we had used before (Dodge), and they said that they wouldn't be able to get out to our house until Monday morning. Well, on a very stressful Monday morning, at about the time they were supposed to be there, I got a text from them telling me that they wouldn't be able to get out that day, and maybe even during the week. So I tried NES. It was a GREAT decision! They were out within two hours, and while I was expecting repairs to last for a couple hours, they had fixed and installed everything within an hour. It was truly a blessing and I was so relieved. Jose and George were fun, polite, professional, well prepared, very knowledgeable and explained things in terms I could easily understand. I will DEFINITELY use them again, and you should too!

Wanted to put an A/C unit in our garage but we’re told we needed some electrical work to make it happen. The HVAC company recommended us to NES and I can see why. Not only was he extremely professional and responsive, he exceeded my expectations. After the job was done and I had already paid, he took a moment to fix my gate that had a small issue, and looked at my pool equipment for no charge. Absolutely the best contract work I’ve ever had done, thank you. 10/10 would recommend to anybody who needs any electrical work.

I contacted NES about a broken Dimmer in my home. Jose was easy to get in touch with and came out the same day, which I didn't expect. Once here my wife remembered our doorbell was having issues as well and Jose was happy to look at that as well. Both issues were fixed within 30m and I even got some education about the issue with the Dimmer! Price was reasonable and provided over the phone as much as possible. Wonderful service and I would absolutely use NES again.
These guys are the best! Jose was on vacation so George came out to look at one of our electrical issues. He was 10 minutes early. He was very polite, clean and had a great sense of humor. He quickly identified the problem and repaired it on the spot. While he was here he noticed that something else wasn’t wired right by the previous owner of the house. He fixed that also at no charge. Jose and his team did several projects around our house and did a very professional job. They were on time and did everything we needed including installation of a couple of new outlets, a ceiling fan and some outdoor bubble covers. This is the second time we’ve used NES and highly recommend them!
Called and left a message on a Sunday morning and received a call back almost immediately. The electrician showed up within an hour and a 1/2 of our phone call. He went over the problems and our situation really didn't require him to repair anything and he was quite honest about it and charged just a call out fee. He was very pleasant and very honest and forthright up front.

We ran into some weird wiring in our house when trying to install a fan and NES was quick to come out the same day and get things working. They were very affordable too, I wish I had found them sooner.

We’ve had 2 quick response electrical requirements in the last 2 years. Jose and his team at NES filled both quickly and efficiently. Services required were underground wiring to replace failed pool power and (2) wiring, switch and outlet moving to facilitate soffit removal.

The outlets and switches stopped working in one of my rooms and in a few areas of the rest of the house. One company said it was a loose neutral wire, but wouldn't know where it is so I had to change all the outlets/switches in my whole house. Plus they found other issues which would cost me $11,000 to fix all the issues they found or cheapest price a few thousand just to change all the outlets. Contacted NES electrical that day, I was very stressed. Jose came the next day, saturday morning. Found the loose neutral in the smoke detector and only had to change about 9 outlets and everything was good to go in a few hours. Plus he saved me thousands of dollars. I will be calling him again for my electrical issues.

Stop Searching Now and just call Jose at NES! We needed help with electrical problems after an inept handyman had done some work for us. We needed help with 3 way switches in our kitchen. I messaged Jose on a Sunday and he was out to help us Monday afternoon and had the issue fixed in 20 mins! BUT WAIT.. After he left, I went to plug in the TV (where the same handyman had worked) only to find out the plug didn't work. I called Jose again and he was out to our house THE NEXT DAY! With a little investigating Jose soon discovered that the handyman had cut through the wall and cut into our electric running through the wall. Within an hour he had replaced the wiring and had the plugs both functioning as normal again! Communicative, timely, responsive, professional, fair, knowledgeable, friendly and clean are all words to accurately describe Jose. Stop Looking now and give Jose a call! Jose and George replaced my old flourescent fixture in the kitchen with eight recessed can fixtures for LED bulbs. They arrived right on time on a Monday morning, the estimate was exactly as expected from our communication about the job, and in a matter of hours my kitchen space was transported 30 years into the future. They also added a second (3-way) switch as the old light could only be controlled from one end of the room. They went above and beyond to minimize wall and ceiling cuts and probably re-measured half a dozen times with tape, levels and lasers to make sure it was all exactly right and how I wanted it before they began. When the job was done they went the extra mile to clean up the mess and put my drywall neatly back in place so we can easily putty and paint. I couldn't be happier with the results and will be calling these guys for all my electrical jobs in the future. I highly recommend them!

Accidentally drilled through some wiring in my drywall Sunday morning. Contacted through text and Jose was quick to respond. Had an appointment set for Monday afternoon. I had an addition outlet installed for my freezer as the original one I was using started to Tripp cause the power to shut off on my garage. I was extremely pleased with the no nonsense, systematic approach to my electrical nightmare. NES arrived promptly after I made contact and aggressively attacked the project. I like working with contractors that I don't have to babysit or give constant direction of "Fix this and when you're done, please do something else” (rather than stand around charging me until I can get back with you to give you a new task). I provide a general plan and direction, and NES gets after it. I would HIGHLY recommend NES for any electrical needs. I am a commercial GC, and have worked with many different subcontractors over the years. There is nothing better than working with a Small Sole proprietor who treats every project as if it was “his own".

I had a very expensive Hunter fan stop working on us. Jose came quickly, figured out what the problem was in about 20 minutes and had it fixed in another 15. This is a $450 ceiling fan that I was going to have to replace with a cheaper one. It was obvious Jose has done this a million times. He was fluid as he went from step to step, diagnosing and then fixing. That's the value of skilled craftsmen: they pretty much know what could be wrong and they know how to tell which problem it is very quickly. There was no scratching of the head, let's try this and see type of work. He just nailed it. Very worth the money and time to have him come over to fix or install things. He was also very cordial and honest. I will not be calling anyone else for any electrical work while I'm in the valley.

Jose came in 20 minutes and installed 2 humidity sensor controls in our bathrooms. He took the time to show us how the sensors work and how to change the settings if we desire. My husband and I are so happy we called NES to come out and take a look at our electrical problem. I called at 7:40 am, Jose actually answered the phone and after a quick conversation asked me to text him my location details and that he’d take a look at his schedule and get right back to me. He followed up on his promise and texted me back a time for the SAME DAY!! Within 2 hours of me first contacting him, he and his assistant Jorge, were at our house diagnosing the problem. Called NES Electric about 730am to have him (Jose) come do a few projects around the house. He said he was close by on another project and could stop over when done. He arrived about 930, looked at what I needed and gave me an estimate on the spot. He did the job right away and did excellent work. He also pointed out a possible termite issue to me that he discovered.

I called about addressing essentially all the outlets in the house and a breaker panel tune up on a Sunday. They were able to be there the next day first thing in the morning. The owner went thru all the problems and explained them to me. The other two workers got right to work and knocked it out in just a couple hours. At the end they double-checked everything with me again. The quote and pricing was transparent from the beginning and I feel like they were able to do everything at a very solid price. What a breath of fresh air! I purchased a 20 year old house here in the Phoenix area a couple years ago and have been doing a lot of improvements requiring a lot of different tradesmen. What is frustratingly true about the Phoenix area is there is far too much business to be had right now, and this has brought out the worst in people such as electricians, plumbers, HVAC, etc. They only want the best of the gravy work, at their price, and on their schedule. Question a price, or a timeline, or want anything out of their little comfort zones, and you get lip service than THEN THEY GHOST YOU!! This happens REGULARLY here and they honestly could just care less. NOT SO for NES Electrical Services. The owner, Jose, might just be the most professional AND most competent tradesman I have encountered in these last two years. His responsiveness and communications are extremely quick, he keeps you well informed, he shows up exactly on time, and he knows exactly what he's doing. His trucks are just as professional. Clean, in excellent shape, and loaded with equipment to get the job done. My job was to replace 3 old florescent fixtures in my garage ceiling with 8 new LED fixtures. This involved significant new wiring through rafters and making the new install be up to my VERY discerning standards. (I'm geeky about my garage) They were in and out in 5 hours this morning! I couldn't recommend this company any higher. Truly outstanding in a muddled field. Photo shows holes from where old fixtures were, plus some drywall openings from a recent addition of AC to the garage. Drywall guy to follow soon.

My parents and I have been calling NES for all electrical needs since 2016. My parents purchased an old home with risky electrical wiring. We advertised work and received three quotes. NES was most competitive and described a project execution plan. We really liked how he educates you versus talking over your head. He ran into an issue, unrelated to the work we requested, and was dogged in wanting to find the root of the problem. It was late and wasn't getting paid for his time, but he wanted to be sure that my parents' lives were at risk. He found the root and he made a fix, at no cost, because he said it would help him sleep at night knowing that it was taken care of. We won't use another company. No question.
Jose Nunez & his associate came out first thing this morning and installed 4 Dusk Till Dawn flood lights. He responded quickly to my text message the night before and even offered to come after 6 PM if I needed him to, however, with it being winter and already dark we decided first thing this morning. They came to the house on time, and I wasn’t kept waiting for their arrival. They were able to complete the job to my satisfaction and arrived in two fully decked out company work trucks. My husband and I were looking for someone to do some work for us. Being new to AZ we turned to Google. Found Jose on here with good reviews so we called. The gentleman that came to our home was friendly, courteous, upfront about costs and possible issues. But was right there to let us know he would help us out. He started work in our garage and no sooner did he get the holes cut for the outlets and lights, and half the ceiling in the garage fell! The drywall that was there gave way and fell. Jose called upon my husband and in turn I was called home. Once arriving home I find Jose in the garage cleaning up the drywall and all the insulation that had rained down. I was floored that my electrician had stayed to help clean up the mess that was not his fault. But he also stay and finished the job that same day! This is truly an amazing person to have met and now I hope all of you get to know Jose also. His work is excellent, his ethnic is unbelievable to customer service, and a true stand up guy! We came back from vacation with our AC not working. Turns out our electric panel needed to be upgraded. After having one electrical company come out and quote us 11,000 dollars to upgrade our panel service! I wanted to get a second quote. Jose was able to send George over the same day to look at our panel. George was professional, understanding and let us know what options we had. He got our AC working and we'll be going through them to fix our electrical panel.

The only electrician I use, I always get great service at a good price, and no crazy stuff like extra charges or up selling. Very professional and does the job right every time. So far I've had my dishwasher hookups redone, a light switch that shocks you when touch it fixed, and old Cox cables/box removed from the side/roof of my house. I 10/10 recommend 👍
The NES team did a SUPER JOB replacing four florescent inside lights for LED ones. They installed an outside motion spotlight, installed two outside solar lights and repaired an outside landscape spotlight. Lastly, they installed a Ring doorbell and assisted with the internet setup! The NES team are SMART, EFFICIENT, FRIENDLY & REASONABLE WITH PRICING! Part of our house’s power went out last Saturday. Called NES Electrical Services because they had done a great job for us on a previous project. Jose came out within like 45 minutes on a Saturday night. He evaluated the situation and saw there was actually a down power line in the neighbors yard. He called the electrical company and got them out fairly quickly. He also stabilized the power in the house and made sure refrigerators were still on so our food would be ok but also made sure a/c units were off so they would not end up damaged while the electric company worked on the line. This was awesome! He also stayed until the electrical company arrived. This showed an impressive dedication to doing the right thing. Not just sticking around for the wait with his customer, but keeping an eye on that downed line. That showed Jose to be a truly good human. Once the electric company got there the guy turned the electricity off to that downed line. And Jose left it in their hands. It took the electric company well into the night to fix the problem, but on Sunday after I confirmed to Jose the electricity was working again he came back and made sure our breaker box was all back to normal and the a/c units were both working fine. He also made sure I knew how to handle getting the house back down to the temperature I wanted it without breaking the units. Jose was awesome and I will definitely call NES again when I need help.

Jose and his team did a top notch job of fixing the electrical issues I was having at my mobile home. They replaced the whole connection from the power pole plus installed a new 240v 50 amp subpanel to power my mobile home. NES was easy to work with. I called Juan in the morning and he had George out to my house that afternoon. He made the necessary repairs, the price seemed fair, and they were easy to work with. I’d reach out to them again for future projects and emergencies.
Jose came 30 minutes after my call for an estimate. The following day, his team of 3 came to add a 220 outlet for a dryer and a gfi outlet for a bidet. This entailed going under my model home to bring service to the spaces that were very tight and muddy. The team arrived on time and completed in less than 4 hours. Cleaned up everything in the house they worked on and went home with some very muddy boots and overalls. NES team was knowledgeable and friendly and enjoyed their jobs. I would highly recommend them and would call them again.
Thank you to NES Electrical Services for coming out on short notice. Had our electricity go out in the middle of the night and wanted to have an inspection. It appeared someone pranked us as the panel door was wide open and everything shut off. Jose (the owner) arrived and checked everything out to make sure there were no problems anywhere. I called NES after a dozen or so others on a Saturday afternoon since the electrician I had an appointment with failed to show up. Owner Jose answered and gave his quote right on the phone. None of the others I contacted did that. Instead, they charged to come out and give an estimate. I needed a 30 amp outlet installed to charge the batteries on my daughter's startup business van. Jose was at her residence in an hour and had the job completed and van charging an hour later! I highly recommend NES and Jose. He was patient, professional, friendly, and did a wonderful job--exceeding my expectations. Thank you Jose!

NES truly never disappoints, trust me don’t hesitate and read all the reviews you won’t be disappointed with them and their work. We got 2 more fans installed today and when they arrived Jorge noticed our 2 empty trash cans out front. He came to the door and said “do your empty trash cans go behind the gate?” Yes, I replied. He didn’t hesitate, and went back to put both trash cans behind our gate. WHAT ! I was speechless and extremely grateful. This is a delayed review, but I have to give Jose top marks for responding to my call promptly during the holiday season on a day when it was raining. He checked my electrical panel as well as my Christmas lights (they had been hung by a handyman who did not use electrical tape and they were starting to blow fuses and trip breakers due to sitting in pooled water in my gutters - had no idea why this was happening), and the wiring to an electric fireplace that I recently had installed and was concerned about. Would not hesitate to recommend him or use him again.

I have used NES for all my electrician needs for the past five years. They are skilled, professional, and trustworthy. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Jose will provide an honest bid. If Jose says it will take three days, and others say one day, the later will probably do shortcuts or take longer than they say. And you will be coming back to Jose.

The work quoted was more inclusive and covered details several other quotes didn't. I a worried about over paying, but they didn't go over quote, something I'm now sure others would have. The job was to install a sub panel for 220v and install outlets on the other side of a cover block wall. They did the job quickly and exactly how i wanted. They left the work area clean and tidy. Definitely recommend.

Great service. Called at 1:30 techs arrived at 3. Diagnosed, repaired problem promptly. Even checked both panels for any issues, made sure everything in park model operating properly. N.E.S. did a fantastic job. Even though the work was pretty routine they did not rush and made sure to explain the problems found especially when it came to safety issues. You can tell they care about what they do.

My husband had called to get a quote on replacing a ceiling fan and was told it could be taken care of the same day.
